Heswall Veterans

Heswall Veterans is a local community fundraising group who support local veterans activities and help ensure Heswall's long history of military service is remembered and maintained.

The group have existed since 2023 when due to legislative issues the Royal British Legion Charity were no longer able to support the local remembrance parade; so a group of veterans, local residents and workers gathered to try and maintain the annual event which has been held since 1926.

Raising funds from the local community and by holding events with aid of several local businesses the group has raised money for each years parade and for a new memorial stone to remember the veterans who have passed away while not deployed.
